Pipeline

Jenrin is developing a pipeline of proprietary ‘first in class’ peripherally selective (PS) drugs. Development activities have focused on targeted programs, including metabolic disorders, inflammation/pain, and infectious diseases. More than a dozen patent applications have been filed, chemistry has been initiated in four programs, and more than 1,000 compounds have been synthesized. Multiple high potency leads have been identified in the PS CB1 receptor antagonist program, including JD-5006, which is currently being advanced to IND-enabling studies. A number of back up candidates are being characterized. Therapeutic proof of concept is currently on-going for lead compounds in the PS MAO-B program, and lead compounds are being pursued in other Jenrin programs.
